Mortar to Mission is a comprehensive bundled services building program that includes a capital campaign, loan, annual stewardship campaign and endowment development training. This integrated program guides you from concept to fundraising, through financing the project to establishing an endowment for maintenance.
A Heartspring representative will meet with your study committee or building team to discuss the steps outlined in the United Methodist Book of Discipline.
Capital Fund Campaign
We highly recommend the use of a professional capital campaign firm to lead your congregation through the funding process.
Horizons Stewardship Company has extensive experience helping churches plan and conduct successful capital campaigns, and is our preferred provider of capital campaign services.
Regardless of who you select to lead your capital campaign, Heartspring would like an opportunity to bid on your loan. We offer competitive rates and understand the systems and requirements of the United Methodist Church.
Annual Stewardship Campaign
With the loan in place, the next step in our Mission to Mortar program is an annual stewardship campaign. We typically use Herb Miller’s New Consecration Sunday program. A Heartspring representative will lead this program for you.
The final component of an effective building program is the establishment and development of an endowment program to encourage “timeless gifts” and legacy planning. A Heartspring representative will work with your committee or task group to establish this program or to further develop an existing program.
